Initial discussion of your cake can be done over the phone or via email.
Before you book a wedding cake consultation, please be sure to have all your event details planned. Such as invitation, venue, flowers and colors, as the design of your cake can be influenced by these details.
Wedding cakes are charged per serving/guest. Tiered wedding cakes range from $6-$12 per serving/guest ($6 per slice would be a plain white buttercream tiered cake with no added decorations), increasing in price based on complexity of the design and difficulty of execution. Many clients choose designs at $7 to $10 per serving. Minimum wedding cake orders start at $700 for servings for 100 guests or more.
Handmade sugar flowers are priced per stem based on complexity of the flower and range from $10- $35 per stem.
Custom fondant cake toppers range from $25-$100 based on complexity and execution of design.

Cake tastings are offered by appointment only and the cost is $40. All cakes are baked fresh for your tasting. You have the option of choosing up to four cake flavors (please refer to flavor section to view options). The consultation lasts up to 1 hour, which gives us enough time to discuss your design needs. If you need to cancel, I ask that you do so at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time.
Along with the inspirational sources that may influence your cake design, the following factors need to be discussed to help with the design process:
- Budget – I can accommodate most budgets, but keep in mind the number of guests you want to feed and the design you’re looking for will affect the overall cost.
- Number of guests – this will determine most of the cost of your cake and whether multiple tiers are appropriate
- Preferred cake shape – round, square, hexagon or a combination
- Custom Sugar Work - custom fondant topper or sugar flowers
After the consultation, I take all the ideas discussed from our consultation and will email you some cake design sketches.
After the consultation, I will email you a quote along with the cake contract that outlines your event date and cake details within 3-5 business days. This quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is sent. Once a deposit is made a cake design sketch will also be emailed for review and approval of final cake design.
A 50% deposit is required to hold your event date and is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date or person.
The remaining balance is due 3 weeks prior to the event date.
If order is canceled, 50% of the total cake cost is non-refundable, plus any and all expenses already incurred in the behalf of the finished product.
A fee is applied for all deliveries. Fee varies depending on location. We do not deliver more than 30 miles away from our location.
